How Does Mind Lab Work In Schools?

Mind Lab is a classroom based programme taught ideally once a week for children in Years 1-10. The approximately 45 minute lessons are built around the structured Mind Lab curriculum which has modules such as "Problem Solving", "Information Analysis", "Resource Management", “Asking Questions”, “ Decision Making”, "Value judgments”, “Learning to learn" etc. Each module is covered in a 8-10 week course.

The children experience the difference that these newly learnt skills
make to their game playing and then learn, and are motivated, to apply these new skills to all aspects of life itself.

Through our service programme, Mind Lab provides all the resources needed tobring the programme to schools including: specialist Mind Lab teachers, games, curriculum and pupil learning resources. Through our license programme, Mind Lab provides all the teacher training and support needed to enable a selected group of the schools teachers to teach the programme in the school.
