I am enjoying Mind Lab at many different levels. The games themselves are superb, promote many different skills, are stimulating and fun. I am really impressed by the way the children settle to the games and follow the etiquette. They have taken on board the learning methods e.g. The Stoplight Method, refer to them freely and can see how they apply to everyday life (We even do a bit of drama if we want to illustrate a point).
As I become more familiar with the lessons I can balance the sessions as I feel is best, there is plenty of well thought-through material in the plans which I follow, but can adapt to meet the needs of the children. I love the way each child operates at his own level and the way Mind Lab has reached children with problems or those who are very bright, yet we're all part of the group.
Of-course it's not all plain sailing and I have the advantage of knowing many of the children, but I go home at the end of a long day refreshed by Mind Lab ? quite something after a day's teaching!"
