Here's what children, parents, teachers, and school principles from around the world say about Mind Lab:
Anna Jarvis - Head Teacher, Peppard Primary School, UK "The great strength of the programme is that it allows children to improve life skills in an enjoyable and experiential way, while encouraging them to sharpen their thinking processes and develop self-control. We are impressed with the professional approach that the Mind Lab tutors have and how the importance of sportsmanship and the etiquette of game playing is stressed during each lesson."
Sara Yisraeli - Headmistress of Shazar School, Israel "I would like to stress the depth and professionalism of the Mind Lab program. The curriculum is built in such a way that every respective age group is presented with its own specialized material. The lessons are well constructed and delivered in an attractive and absorbing manner. They feature many activities, stories, brainteasers and discussions. The thinking games in the curricula are of the highest quality and are especially challenging. Coupled with the Mind Lab software tools, text and exercise books, a veritable rich and rewarding learning experience is achieved."
Jenny Blain Owner of the Denning Montessori School, UK "I recently came across Mind Lab. Very quickly I felt it had the same sort of 'magic' as Montessori: wonderful quality games, well researched and chosen from different cultures, dynamic, enthusiastic teachers to link between the games and the child, an amazing philosophy behind it that nurtures independence, confidence and self discipline in the child. Mind Lab offers children a great experience to learn how to function really well in a peer group. The children truly learn life skills that will effect them for the rest of their life, as does Montessori."
Sarah - Mother of a child learning Mind Lab "My son started a new school and Mind Lab was an after school activity that attracted his attention. It has been a good way to help him open up new friendships. My son usually starts new activities with great enthusiasm and then after a few sessions loses interest. I have been astounded with Mind Lab, an apparently "learning type" activity, has held his attention and maintained his enthusiasm to go."
Miriam Arbiv - Headmistress of Hillel Tzur School, Israel (The Mind Lab system has been operating in this school for 7 consecutive years) "The children love the Mind Lab classes and wait for them all week with baited breath. It is a pleasure to see how the subjects taught seem to take expression and manifest themselves not only in other school lessons but also in the pupils? social lives: during school breaks and in situations involving both competition and emotional management."
Tess - Mother of two children learning Mind Lab "I just wanted to say how much both of my children are enjoying Mind Lab. They both come home excited and enthused about the activities they have participated in. The general philosophy of Mind Lab is quite brilliant and it is giving them essential thinking and behavioral skills that I am certain will benefit them greatly in the future. The teachers at Mindlab are enthusiastic and fun. It is a joy to see the interaction between the children and their mentors. I would certainly recommend Mind Lab to any parent who wishes to find an inspiring and intellectual activity for their children."
Mione - A Mind Lab Teacher "Hi Suri, Please quote me! I am enjoying Mind Lab at many different levels. The games themselves are superb, promote many different skills, are stimulating and fun. I am really impressed by the way the children settle to the games and follow the etiquette. They have taken on board the learning methods e.g. The Stoplight Method, refer to them freely and can see how they apply to everyday life (We even do a bit of drama if we want to illustrate a point). As I become more familiar with the lessons I can balance the sessions as I feel is best, there is plenty of well thought-through material in the plans which I follow, but can adapt to meet the needs of the children. I love the way each child operates at his own level and the way Mind Lab has reached children with problems or those who are very bright, yet we're all part of the group. Of-course it's not all plain sailing and I have the advantage of knowing many of the children, but I go home at the end of a long day refreshed by Mind Lab ? quite something after a day's teaching!"
A Poem Written by a Group of Mind Lab Kids: "I like Mind Lab because it has good games I like Mind Lab like burning flames I like Mind Lab because it is fun I like all the good things we've done I like Mind Lab because it is great And I will still love it even when I'm eight"
